#Keltwalk // My Fall 2015 Sugar and Bruno Collection is Here!
It's hard to believe that it's been six years since my Dance Spirit cover was released, and the fine folks at Sugar and Bruno asked me to collaborate. Our goal was to create studio to street style, that gave the dance community the chance to share their love of dance without everything having to be baby pink and tutus. I think we have succeeded. My line has been sold all over the world, featured of the two biggest dance television shows Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. People always send me pictures of my line at the Capezio store in Manhattan, which blows my mind because that store is where I bought my dance supplies when I was a little up and coming dancer.
A lot has changed in these six years, a new name, a new city, and my body got old and it came time for me to retire. After many years with the Radio City Rockettes, and crazy life changing moments on SNL, The VMAS, The Billboard Awards, and in Movies and on TV shows, I was okay walking away. My love of dance has never ended, I just love it from afar.
I've stayed in the entertainment world of course, and I think many of the things my dance life taught me have been the things that have helped me to be successful now. Dancers are tough people, that is for sure!
I hope you enjoy the collection, and this isn't JUST for dancers! I made the collection with everyone in mind. You are all ON FLEEK in my book!
On FLEEK Raglan - I love Raglans for the fall and winter. I was inspired by Beyonce's 24/7 video where she had the sweater that said "KALE" (who doesn't want to be Beyonce, right?) I love that this is super soft and has little thumbholes for you. It's cute to go with leggings and sweats, but even cuter with jeans or jean shorts. Available for purchase HERE.
TWERKING Ballerinas - I saw this ad on Facebook for a company that takes old rap lyrics and puts it over famous paintings. I wanted to make the dancer version. I had our artists make paintings inspired by the famous Degas ballerinas, and then we are planning on putting a series of dance terms over them. The first one is TWERK, I love the fact that it says TWERK over those pretty ballerinas. :) Same super soft Raglan with armholes, and also comes as a T-Shirt. Available for purchase HERE.
There are still tons of other shirts, water bottles, inspirational posters and more available, and ON SALE over at www.SugarandBruno.com -Please let me know what you think of the new designs in the comments below!
